Cheap Car Hire in Figino, Milan from ฿257

Lots of fees that were not transparent. The taxes were 800 euro and we got stuck with a large SUV when we booked a sedan. Plan on paying 2-3 times the amount quoted.

fill up the tank before returning !!! I got charged 130 euro for the empty tank (I rented a compact hybrid with a 9 gallon tank - approx 30 euro to fill it up)

Sicily by car did a "bait and switch". We had booked a luxury car, and they told us we did not have the right credit card. They offered a lower level car for more money to be paid -- pretty much held us hostage (we were being blackmailed). We did not end up renting the car from Sicily by Car. We are going to fight with "Kayak", "Rentalcars.com" & "Sicily by Car" to get a refund for services not received, services not as promised and being blackmailed, held hostage at the beginning of a vacation - leaving us with a bad taste in our mouth. I would strongly recommend Kayak and Rentalcars.com look at how many complaints they have received of such nature and kick them off potential choices to rent from (if they want their reputation to be intact). I would love a call back / communication from a person at Kayak and/or rentalcars.com and walk through the horrible experience.

It was great. We had a delay which left us getting to our pick-up location 5.5 hrs after the scheduled pick-up. The lady at the front counter helped us get a vehicle even after telling us the vehicle contract is terminated after a 2 hr delay. She was very understanding, especially since the delay was out of our hands.

The vehicle was great. The pickup experience was awful. Long-line and slow service. Drop off was equally terrible. Poor signage to find the drop off area and only 1 person to check you out .

I did not receive the car I ordered and paid for. I reserved a car that could fit 5 people and 4 suitcases. The example car was a Citroen C4– a car with a hatchback. This was essential to us because we had 4 people with 4 bags. The car we received was comically small and we could only fit 2 bags in the trunk (barely) and had to put a seat down and squeeze in like a clown car with bags on top of each person. When I returned to the counter to point out the discrepancy I was gaslit and told it was the car I ordered and only offered the alternative to pay for an suv.
