แควนตัสแอร์เวย์ flights from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport to Cairns (BKK - CNS)

We were an hour late boarding on the way down to Melbourne. On the way home we woke up to our flight being cancelled and it took 4 hours to get a notice for a new flight that was 3 hours late

It was a little bit lacklustre. The flight was delayed 90 mins, and looking at the history of that flight over the prior two-week period it had been delayed almost everyday for anywhere between 30-120 mins, which is just unacceptable in my view. The appetiser (arancini ball) is probably the wrong type of item to serve on the plane, it was served almost cold and definitely hadn’t reheated well. My friends who flew the same flight the next day also commented on this. The chicken Kiev main was fantastic, although I wish the serving was a little larger. The mid-flight pie was cold, so again they hadn’t got their heating right. Service was okay, although nothing amazing… and once we took off it took at least 45 mins before they even started drinks, which I felt was a tad slack.

I liked that the flight was on time, the snack wasn’t bad but the seats were small and everytime my husband moved in his seat, my seat moved too.
