I liked the flexibility to drop off the car later than planned. They could have done a better job vacuuming the dog food and dog hair under the back seats.

Staff were very professional and helpful and even helped me find my way back to the car drop off when my GPS wasn't working! Amazing!

Everything was good except the insurance!

I was surprised there was no WIFI as I needed to text urgently, I was directed to a "public park" a few blocks away to try a public connection! really? for a big "reputable" company disappointing

According to Avis staff, dealers choice will be the smallest car available.

The gave me a "full tank" that was half water... Same route and speed both ways: it used 19L there, filled it up and used 11L on the way back...

Car worked well, good model to offer but it has some paint damage on the front. Price went up almost 200CAD at the end almost 50% more than budget!!! Will avoid avis at all cost next time

Never got the car I booked tried to fob me off with a tesla. Poor staff, not interested in your needs. No desire to ever use hertz again, canceled and booked with budget, who were most accommodating.

I tried to extend my rental for an extra day, but after spending way over an hour on the phone with about 5 different people, nobody could help me so I was unable to keep it. It was very frustrating. I kept being told my rental had a hold on it and to call the pick-up location, but that location was closed on Sunday.

Verify your car carefully, take the picture around the car, show those crashes mark and ask the representative of Herz sign the paper. When I pick up my car at the parking myself, the SUV has 10% damage marks around the car. I took the pictures, back to the rental office and asked them to sign the paper.

It is an absolutely terrible place with no service at all. I am so stressed! It was my biggest mistake to rent a car here. I booked a car for 3 days, came to the office and was 3rd in the line. Only one person was servicing clients and it took 15min per client. Then imagine, I was planning to go to Pennsylvania, they wanted to offer me a Tesla! There were 3 keys on the desk: all of them from Tesla. Well, finally I got a mini-SUV, but their smart-phone based inspection did not work and crashed! So much time was lost and for what!? To see small 1cmx1cm images of pictures on the car on a smartphone screen? It is crazy! OK! When I checked the car, the fuel level was 3/8, tank was not full as per contract. How do you return with the same level of fuel back? It is not possible at all! Moreover, I overpaid ~10L for gas: I checked the gauge, fuel economy and distance and found I needed an extra 5L to get 3/8. I paid 5L, and the fuel gauge level did not change again. I did it one more time, no change and after the 3rd time I realized that the fuel gauge doesn't work properly. OK, one more nightmare, I came to the office when it should be open after 8am, but nobody was there. I tried to call Thrifty support line, but you know, all the phone line options were out of my request. Finally somebody replied to me and tell me someone will be in the office at 9am, but it did not happen: I was waiting for ~1.5hr and nobody appeared. So, I originally lost approximately 1hr when taking the car and it resulted into delay in crossing Canada/US border. Another 1.5hr I was trying to return a car. Do not use this service as well as Dollar and Hertz (it is the same company now), go to Budget!

Great car, was brand new. Really easy pick up and drop off
