I specifically ordered a small car (described as “ mini or Fiat 500 or equivalent.” . There were no Fiat 500 or minis available nor any other compact cars. I was offered a larger car which I had to decline due to extremely narrow parking garage at my destination. After 30 mins a 2 door mini was finally found but I had to pay an extra €140 since it was considered a “ special” category (I don’t know why since it was 2 door, and basic ie not cabriolet, no parking camera etc). I asked for the charge to be waived but Budget refused!

PIck up was fine and swift. Lots of trouble during return. Unhelpful staff at the counter to solve an issue with an alleged missing piece. Still waiting for an answer from customer service.

Poor, they told us they were open for return on Sunday and then we’re not and did not give us any instructions for returning after hours. Being from out of the country, return was very difficult. They also told us there are pending damages and we did not hit anything or do anything to damage the car so we are very surprised and disappointed for now having to deal with a claim.
