They charged me $30 more in fees when I got there. I could have found a much better deal with another company. Unless you refund me the money, I won’t be using Kayak again due to hidden charges.

the delivery address was modified and not informed in advance, there was no one to guide how to carry out the Drop-Off the Dollar cabin was without anyone and the person who helped me or gave me information to keep the key in the box was the guy from Guaratiba in the parking lot

I was not able to pick up the vehicle due to thunderstorm. The intermediate folks were not waiving the no show fee and the process is still going on, even after a week time. Didn’t get my remaining amount got returned yet.

There was no sign at pickup and the first car I received was not operating properly so I had to swap the 2nd day. All that was easy enough although very annoying. The staff at this location is chill and helpful. Intake/ pickup was a bit odd because they ask for two pieced of phot ID. This was a new request and if I was not coming from international I would not have had my passport or a second photo ID. Overall a fine experience but with hiccups.

Problem is with the alliance insurance. I have canceled the car and got my money back, but insurance company didn’t refund my money.

I wanted to write a good review for this place but my experience was just rather frustrating compared to other car rental options in Toronto. I had to wait 60 minutes for my car when I went to pick it up in early August, 2021. The owner, Farhad, was a friendly guy and chatted with me while waiting, but he used our conversation to probe me about my trip and charge me hidden fees related to my travel plans. When I returned the car, he tried to charge me again for a service that I had already paid for and asked me to send him my receipt as proof. Days later, I realized I had left a hat in the rental car, but Farhad did not return any of my calls or emails asking him about it.
