1. Lots of upselling on car features. 2. Be aware of all dents and damages before the car is released to you. Take a lot of your own pictures with a date stamp 3. Ask for all receipts related to the gas filling or parking. I will NOT be renting from Hertz ever again. A lot of dishonesty in car rental practices.

Nice, clean comfortable car. For some reason the pick up office in terminal 2 was closed for ten minutes as we arrived, but eventually the person working there arrived and we got our car.

I wanted to extend my rental but online it said I had to phone the office and i phoned the office more than 6 times, selected ‘english’ and ‘current rental’ than waited about 10 rings before the computer disconnected me again and again and again so had to book a different car through a different agency for a week.

I got the gas tank full with the care was told to return it filled, we did that and we were still charged over €90 for not filling the gas tank. I have both the receipt and video evidence of the tank being full, yet Hertz has not refunded the charge… still waiting (be very careful with them).

Great experience renting Avis through Kayak. Cheaper than direct, as was the insurance they suggested. Pick up/drop off at Barcelona airport was far less stressful than I imagined.

We had to wait in line for 1.5 hours to get our car. Totally unacceptable and an amazingly inefficient system. The staff spent more time trying to upsell people on insurance, better cars etc instead of managing the crowd.

It took 2 hours to pickup the car. There was only 4 people ahead of us in line. Super slow process to check in and get the car. The car they gave me didn’t seem to be in the luxury class I ordered. I will not rent here again.

Pick up was extremely difficult. I waiting at the counter while the person helping me tried to figure out my rental. Finally his colleague helped after more than 30 minutes standing there.

Ms. Valerie Helped us to move the laggages all the way to the car. And helped us setup all the car seats securely. She was also super friendly. P

However the GPS phone Device we rent, the car charger didn't charge at all. Dead on the way to our destination. Coast so much pain.

On the spot, when added insurance price was 2.2x more than initially communicated Car given was not the one reserved,but Hyundai that had some strange features that caused flat battery and left us without the car for half a day ( of course when most needed) Emergency service from Hertz that was the actual provider behind the Dollar, acted very slowly and fairly unprofessionally. End result was waiting for 3 hours in the garage for them to come with cables and start the engine. At that time they gave us instructions that should be initially communicated.
