Excellent experience with Enterprise Rent a Car in Amsterdam Centrum. We dealt with Alessandra and she could not have been better. Highly recommended.

Easy process renting and picking the car up. Greetings from staff with a smile and no problem with any thing. Returning the car also easy and great service from staff.

They canceled reservation right before we were to pick up the car and after we booked our ferry and made vacation plans. Outrageous business practice!

Instead of looking for solutions, the person at the desk kept repeating why we couln'd rent the car. I can understand the reasons why alamo doesn't accept prepaid credit cards (although Sixt does), but can't accept to have receptionists being so unresponsive and clearly lacking skills to look for solutions.

Everything was well, only the thing that should be more than one pick up location. I mean; there was Alamo office near our hotel, but there was only 1 option to picking car and it’s so far.

Some difficulty with the payment credit card system like I have debit card and they refused revolut. Also my old licence seems here they need a new one. But we find the way. The car are well prepare super clean an a zone maintenance.

Location at the Amsterdam convention center was convenient. They rented us a car with multiple existing scratches the proceeded to claim we scratched a hub cap and charge $300 for repair work. The good news is we were covered through our credit card company who was super helpful but working with Sixt was awful and I won’t ever use them again. Stay away from them as a company.

Important things were not communicated upfront. 1. Passport is needed 2. Credit card pin code is needed. The first issue was solved, by chance i had a photo of the passport. the 2nd issue was a surprise, I knew I had to bring my credit card and I did, after already paying online, however, they needed me to use my pin code and not just scan my card. I do not have the pin code and they had no fallback option so I was not able to get a car and had to make new plans. Clear communication upfront would help either getting ready for the rental process or make other plans IN TIME. I was unhappy to see no flexibility (I offered instead of a deposit, to actually pay that amount - even that wasn't an option)

Pick up time was 8 am and I had to wait until 9.20 am to learn that they do not accept my card so I could not rent a car.
