Cheap Car Rentals in The Liberties, Inchicore and Phoenix Park, Dublin

Very friendly and helpful staff. I was looking for a mid sized suv and on kayak it reserved a kia sorrento or equivalent but when I arrived at the rental there were no options for this. We took a Skoda kamiq which is somewhat smaller but I believe we were charged a mid size suv cost.

In Ireland - at Avis Budget - your American car insurance is not valid. They will not make this clear in any messaging leading up to the rental counter. This is to encourage purchase of their own insurance which is a profit center. Some credit cards cover this insurance but you need a written letter from the card issuer stating this.

Quick easy pick-up of the car and drop off. Excellent staff at pick-up and drop off point. Would have been nice if the car was cheaper but hay-ho that's life.

We were able to pick it up away from the airport but drop it off at the airport with no problem.

Long wait time to be seen, not necessarily the staff's fault but had a 10am pick-up, arrived at 9:45am, waited in line until close to 10:30am until seen due to customers in front having numerous questions.

The car was great. I think that you should highlight that insurance will be extra and required, so that we know the true cost beforehand. In addition, the gentleman checking us in did not tell us that adding an extra driver would be extra even when he knew that we didn't really plan on using the extra driver. Finally, the return location at the Cork airport could be labeled better.

I canceled this car per the terms and received no response. I was instructed to call Sixth where only a voicemail instructed me to cancel via email which no one responded to. The auto reply instructed me to click a link to cancel. After entering my details, I was messaged that the action (canceling) was ‘not allowed’. The cancellation request was a day prior to the rental.

The car we rented wasn't at the location. We spent almost 2 hours waiting on the car. We needed that size so it would fit our golf clubs. The staff was nice enough

Staff was really professional and friendly. I did pay 120 EUR for 2 days rental, basic insurance only and had to leave 2000 EUR deposit for Skoda Fabia that was so basic, it did not have Bluetooth to play music. Comparing that to rentals I had in other countries or even in Ireland few years back price is extremely high.

Insurance is outrageous. $30 per day for the car and $50 for insurance.

Would like to have my refund back really. First the reservation was not realised by hertz at the time and had no vehicles available to rent. So had to postpone all activities and lost all reservations due to this - domino effect. Wasted my entire sunday because of the expectation you gave
