We rented a 4 wd Subaru from Hertz via Kayak. The car was perfect for our ski trip; the agent in Geneva extremely helpful; and the price was the lowest we could find anywhere.

We flew into Geneva airport and the car was located at the train station in the Centre-ville of Geneva which is a three mile trip by public transportation. Carrying our skis, boots and bags for 9 nights was a pain; however, the cost savings made the inconvenience worthwhile.

The drop off point in Vevey that was listed does not exist. As a result we missed our train and had to pay an extra $140 Swiss francs to go to our next destination.

The price of the rental car

The AGNET charged me two security deposites. One valued at 1600 euros which was not even registered in the rental contract. It was really fishy. Also, the agnet tried to rip me off by charging me additional 350 euros for changing the drop off location within the same city. i refused and eventually changed the drop off location at no additional charge.

A remarkable experience with SIXT car rental Staff were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Procedure took a few minutes. The car was clean and new. The car return took a couple of minutes. Amazing car rental agency.

When I went to get my car at 18:00 GVA France sector, the desk was closed. Granted, it closes at 18:00, but I emailed several times explaining a delayed flight by Iberia and I’d be Rs I gvto get to the desk by18:00, which I did! They did not wait. The car I rented 2 months prior to save money. On my tight budget - gone like the wind. I then had ti find smother car on the spot for double the cost. Horrible customer service. Never heard a word from anyone. Don’t use Sixt. Unreliable to say the least.

I have been blamed for an existing scratch on the car, which despite providing proofs are not been taken off. SIXT is claiming €488.5 for a small less than 2 cm scratch on the bonnet. Need your help to defend my case.
