Cheap Car Rentals in Spencer Lakes, West Palm Beach

Car is not clean. Staff at the pickup and drop off are not friendly. Very laid back behavior, don’t care about the people who are waiting with kids or elderly.

They didn't have any cars available for several hours and so could not honor the reservation.

I had to wait over an hour to rent a car.

The customer service receptionist and the overall quickness of service. Plus the price was better than other rental car companies…

This was easily the worst car rental experience of my life. Our flight was delayed and before we left I had called Dollar to make sure the rental center would be open. I was told by the agent that they were open 24 hrs. We arrived at West Palm Beach airport just after 1am and when we got to the counter there was a sign that said "temporarily closed" and to take the shuttle to the pick up location. No shuttle came so we took a taxi. We got there and was told by security that they were closed and to come back in the morning. So we had to take a 40 minute, hundred dollar plus Uber to our place and then had to come back the next day. I called and spoke to an agent to make sure my car was ready and she told me that they hold the reservation for 48 hours. So I had to come back 40 minutes to airport to pick up. When I got to the counter, I was told no car was avaiable and it would be two hours. I asked how this was possible when I was supposed to have a car the day before and it was prepaid. Anyways, it was well over three hours before I got my car. There were numerous other customers in the same predicament. I was quite upset at losing a half day of vacation and two expensive trips back and forth. The people working at the counters couldn't have cared less. Overall, just a poor experience.

Working with my local Hertz rental agency has worked well for me. Cars have been good to excellent. Staff works quickly.

Very helpful and communicative staff. It's a small shop, so you might have to be a bit flexible, but well worth the essentially 50% off from the airport location

Pick up location was little shabby but employees were very friendly and helpful

The customer service for Budget was awful. We waited over an hour to pick up the car. The car itself smelled and was very dated
