Cheap Car Hire in Cheesman Park, Denver from ฿196

There was a mix up about where to pick up the rental, but once I got to the correct location, the staff was very friendly & helpful. The car was dirty and scratched up, but it got us to where we needed to be and it was the perfect size for 4 travelers.

I called 2 weeks in advance to ask for hand controls to be put into the car since I am disabled. The lady who "helped" me sounded like she was at home eating dinner and was bothered to have to take a work call, and hung up abruptly once she had put in my request. I was a little put off, but I got a confirmation email about my request. Upon arriving in a city across the country from where I live, as a severely disabled person, the Hertz station had no car with hand controls, and said that Hertz corporate had not communicated to them, and that "this happens all the time". Incredibly unprofessional and putting me in a terrible situation. Worst of all, nobody from Hertz contacted me to give me the heads up that there were no cars with hand controls, so I had no time to make alternate arrangements. I should sue these dirt bags. Will never give this company any business ever again, and if you are disabled I strongly discourage you from using this rental company.

super fast, car better than expected

The pickup was horrific. Unprepared for people. Silly process with 3 repetitive ID /reservation review. Waited in line for initial contact for 2 hours. Employees were nice but obviously overwhelmed

Renting from the airport was $$$$, but it always is. My agent at the Avis counter was a delight. I had mis-booked not from the airport and she found a car for me. So grateful!

Entered Denver Airport for our pickup and return location and it immediately popped up the variety of car options to reserve. We selected our small SUV and completed our reservation. Upon arrival at the airport following the rental car location we took the shuttle to the Enterprise location at which we were told the reservation want at the airport location and was actually downtown. We then had to spend $60 to Uber downtown to a dirty lot with two cars on site. The agent told us he could see our original reservation was as for the airport location but that it put us at their downtown location as cars were booked out at the other. The car smelled absolutely horrible- like a dirty diaper pale. We had to keep all the windows down to drive it. We returned the car and the manager said he could waive $100 for the odor but nothing else as it was an issue with Kayak’s reservation system and not Enterprise. I won’t rent through Kayak again….

No need to buy extra insurance

It’s an outstanding location to rent a car Andy Apple white is a outstanding manager that’s cares about customer service the car was clean the process was easy and everyone’s attitude were friendly I will rent from them again

The car smelled like cigarettes and wasn’t ready. Also the counter agent tried to add $170 of charges I already paid in advance.

Good car but opening hours for drop off are too short 18:00.

There weren’t any cars available but Thrifty still charged my credit card for insurance. Will not recommend or try snd rent from again.

No car was available, I was told that Hertz customers would get priority because they had priority over Thrifty. I could not get a car and had to turn around and come home. I had to call to get my money back for the rental but airfare, hotel and taxi to the tune of $500 is out of pocket and nobody wants to accept responsibility! This appears to be common occurance based on the input from Thrifty managers.
