They could have not overbooked by 15 cars and given me a car and not been so rude about it with no options but to wait there for 6 hours waiting for a car to come in

This message is for both Kayak and Hertz! Although your pricing may be great the "letter" of detail is outrageous - do to circumstances we arrived later than expected finding that the lot was due to close within 30 minutes - upon calling the rental location for assistance, I was put on hold and was left there until the location was closed "I held the line for additional 10 minutes " hoping for someone to answer. "The Hertz airport location would not assist us in any way unless we wanted to rent something from the with a cost of 4X the markup" - this put us in a real bind as now we had no vehicle for our trip! We ended up renting through a competitor "at 2x the cost". We will not use either of your companies again in the future!

You rented me a car, that was not on site. There wasn't a shuttle to get me there. I was told that I I needed an uber to get there. I cancelled the car and they said that they wouldn't refund my money. I rented from someone else. You have some NERVE ! If I would have known this, I never would have rented from you. I don't even know how you got involved. I will NEVER do business with you!! remove my name from your mailing list! never contact me AGAIN!

When booking there was no indication that the car pickup was NOT at the Airport. We had to take Uber to go downtown and wait for 2 hours. The full size car was a dump, so had to upgrade to an SUV for additional $120 Really disappointed, to say the least!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I loved how simple, easy and affordable the process was. What could’ve been better? The location assigned to me on my reservation was different than the one that was showing in Enterprise’s system.

Didn't have the car reserved. They dud offer for me to come back or stop in at any office and check about swap during the rental. Car was dirty inside and out. Need more attention in that area.

Watch when you are renting from second and third hand sites. I put in Tampa Airport but some how they offered prices for off airport rental of the same company, in this case Enterprise. When I got to the Enterprise airport they had my reservation in the system but it was for a location 20 min. away. So unless I wanted to get an Uber or Cab I had to pay $170. extra to rent from the airport. So beware before you book it, that you are still under the airport address for pick up.

Customer service was great and the process quick. Very courteous and friendly reception.
I thought I was renting a budget rental car at the Tampa international airport! Waited in line for 45minutes and was told that I was at the wrong location and they could not match the price ! I was directed take a Uber to the other budget location and while in route the location closed at 1:45pm so no rental car ! I will never rent from budget or go thru kayak again !!! Total waste of my time and nearly ruined my vacation!!!!

Would love to here from a manager on how this rental that didn't even happen, how budget could rent a car from tampa airport 25 miles away expect me to get there. After waiting 45 minutes in line at airport to then be told I didn't have a car to be picked up it was at this location and no help offered from counter to assist no longer a budget customer. Even with a reservation had to wait 45 minutes in line, the car had multiple scratches and defects, not very clean
We had booked a van online at Tampa international airport and when we got there we were told we didn’t but they said u must have been re-routed to a Avis agent half hour north of airport- this was terrible- then we were told we could not return it at Tampa and had to bring it back the agent or we would be charged - terrible - we should be partially compensated for out trouble Darren

Pickup was slow as all car keys seem to be thrown in one big drawer, with no organization. I inquired about the delay and was told there are a lot of cars in their compound. My car with filthy inside and out. The bugs on the windshield seem to have been there for weeks. I asked about car cleanliness and was told it was clean yesterday. I said NOT today. I was told it would be 45 minutes before someone could clean it. I took it filthy instead. The windshield washer had no fluid. Drop off was quick and easy.

Radio didn’t work, screen flashed on and off. Avis was too hard to get ahold of to file complaint. Gave up on phone after 40 minutes of hold 2x’s.

Fake fuel charges of $120 added to the total! The vehicle was returned with full tank of fuel. They ask for a receipt of gas purchase, instead of checking the gauge in the car! Rip off, scam.
