Cheap Car Rentals in Castleberry Hill, Atlanta

This company claimed to be at the Atlanta Airport, but they're not, you have to catch a shuttle to get to their location. Then you when you to call them to figure out how to get to their shuttle, they don't answer. I was traveling with my 2 young children and finally gave up and decided to rent a car at the Atlanta airport.. On top of all this, we had a return flight at 7 AM, had to be at the airport at 5 AM, and this location is not even open to receive the car to return at that time.

I was charged and didn’t use the car

Was not able to pick up the car because of a policy (they won’t rent to locals) that was not listed anywhere during or after booking. I checked and re-checked all terms and conditions and can not find it. They won’t answer the phone to confirm with rentalcars.com that I never received the rental, so I haven’t even been given a refund yet. Not only do I deserve a refund for the car, but I also deserve a refund for the Ubers to and from the pickup location and for wasting so much of my time. Absolutely awful.

All good except getting car out of lot. For some reason this takes at least five minutes.

There was not a car available for me to pick up and the line was an hour long.

Picking up was a mess, there was no one at the counter, and we had to wait in an long Avis line for people who did not prepay or register.

Couldn’t rent car because of no credit card. No refund offered. A terrible business.

Did not have the car we booked. Did not show up at 8 am when they were to be opened. Horrible experience.

I did not get my rental. They refused my credit card as it was from an online bank, chine, rather than from an institution.

I cancelled my reservation several days before my trip and they still tried to charge my card. There was a $50 fee and they tried to charge me full price.

First my booking was changed to downtown Atlanta from airport. At midnight, the attendant informed me i needed to head downtown for pickup, at my expense. I did so, and found that location closed. I returned to the airport location where I was treated to a new reservation, at a higher rate!! It’s bizarre that the agents on duty feel empowered to make sensible decisions yet failed so woefully.

I reserved a Mustang convertible, and they didn't have it. They were not especially apologetic about their error either.

After a 15 hour flight, i took a taxi to the Avis facility. When I arrived I showed the Avis rep at the counter my reservation (which clearly states that I had a car reserved). The rep told me there were no cars at the locations and because I made the reservation recently the location couldn’t guarantee me a vehicle. I had to change my plans and wait 3 hours for a Greyhound bus to get home after a 15 hour flight. I cant understand how there are no cars available if I have a confirmation that leads me to believe differently. Lastly, I landed at 5pm and the Avis location closed at 6pm. I rushed and caught a taxi which chose me $40 to get to the Avis location I rented from. I called the Avis location 3 times from the Taxi and my calls were not answered. When I arrived at the location at 5:45 (15 minutes before closing) there were 4 employees behind the counter talking and joking. It is obvious they were too engaged in their personal conversation to answer the phone when I called a few minutes earlier. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS SERVICE AND WILL NOT UTILIZE IT IN THE FUTURE.

horrible 0/10 and i still didn’t get a full refund

Didn’t even get a rental car. Got a pathetic text an hour before pickup that they were out of cars. Thrifty was such a scam - don’t overbook if you don’t have the cars, and let people know before they’re leaving for their trip (when they book a car weeks in advance).

When I showed up to get my already paid rental car, the rental place was closed. We were stranded from out of town in downtown Atlanta with no car. Horrible experience.
