I made a reservation for a car rental only for Hertz to tell me they did not have a car and told me they would call me when they did. They never called and I called them 3 times to find out what the status was. They told me that they cancelled my rental and that I would not be able to rent one. So I called Hertz directly and they said they had cars available at a much higher rate. This was disappointing and what a hassle. I was in real bind and had to borrow a car for a week and do Uber on some days. So this was a bad experience and truly dissatisfied with what happened.

The washer fluid was empty and the cap missing. This became an issue driving 2000+ miles.
The manager was very helpful but it was unfortunate we had to involve the manager.
Not given a hard time about prepaying for a car and telling me there were not cars to rent and that prepaying with Hertz was pointless. This was a quote from the front desk individual.
The customer service at this location was terrible. I purchased collision coverage through Kayak. Enterprise didn't accept the insurance. Well, they never heard of the insurance carrier, so they didn’t accept it. I say they, because the manager and another employee were both giving me the runaround. Telling me, if something happened to the vehicle, I’d be liable for the damages. They said, the damages would need to be covered under my car insurance, then I would need to seek reimbursement through Kayak. They pushed their insurance coverage on me. That’s what they are trained to do. They had me over a barrel. I was heading on a trip. Worst management team. The car was a scratched to hell all over the place. Banged up too. I didn’t care because I had purchased their full coverage. They gave me the dumpy car.
Site let me reserve and pay for a car but then they had none. In fact, they told me that they had 80 new reservations when they arrived that morning and only 10 cars to rent so 70 people were left out in the cold.
The guys at enterprise were great. The computer went down when I went to check in which added a few minutes but wasn’t bad. The insurance through the website is not the same insurance as at the rental place also there is a $300 deposit which is affordable
Kayak needs to better coordinate with Enterprise: I used Kayak’s web page to book an Enterprise car for local pickup of rental car at Englewood Enterprise location. However, after completing my booking online with kayak, I received a call from Englewood Enterprise location saying they didn’t have have cars available until two days after my booked pickup time. I then called Enterprise’s national number, and fortunately was able to transfer my booking to the distant DIA location to pick up the car on the day I had booked it. Kayak/Enterprise need to better coordinate websites for car availability.

Everyone was so nice & helpful. Best experience I have had at a car rental place. Very satisfied.
My rental was supposed to be at DEN Airport, not Littleton. When I went to pick up my car, I was told there were no available vehicles, unless I wanted to rent for a month, which means there were vehicles available and they lied. I was then told they would cancel my reservation and I would not be charged, but I was still charged.
Reimbursement of my deposit and other fees. Not lied about having no cars available.
The staff at the Agency on Dartmouth Rd. were all wonderful--helpful, interested, friendly.
