Pick up day the man was overwhelmed and didn’t record drop off location as airport
Service was great and car was fine.
Car was obviously had been smoked in. Very unclear about drop off was supposed to be.
Hertz did not honor our reservation. We were forced to find an hotel for a night. We booked with another rental agency for the next day.
Hertz did not honor our reservation. Only good thing they did was call us in the morning to notify us before we went to the pickup location.
I did not realize I booked it an off site location, vs the airport, which I would of preferred. They would not transfer my reservations. I also returned the vehicle one day earlier (24+ hrs) & I did not get a refund?? Not happy. Sandra Sandees
Book directly with the rental company rather than through Kayak. Budget was out of cars when I arrived.
Although we ended not renting from then, due to an error on our part, they were very helpful and got us on our way in a timely manner.
We loved our dodge Dakota. It was comfortable. We drove it from Tennessee to North Carolina. This car made the beautiful drive even better.
They did not have a car for us on the day we reserved - I had paid the deposit too. We had to go to a different location the next day - which actually was more convenient- the 1st car we got had expired plates - which we didn’t know until we got pulled over by police!! had to drive about 30 miles out of our way to exchange cars. There was no sense of urgency to help us with a new car.
Car was dirty and bald tires.

The staff at the Downtown Nashville Enterprise on 8th Street during the Christmas ‘22 Elliott Blizzard aftermath and the Southwest Airlines debacle, got me into a rental car so I could drive over 750 miles home. It was a challenge as they had few cars that morning but they worked hard at it and made it happen. They were pleasant and diligent and caring. I’ve never seen anything like it.

They were friendly but inside of car not so clean. They did however discount me 10 percent. I also drove the car away when it said, Maintenance needed on the dashboard. They probably shouldn’t have let me use that car until it was updated.

The guy who waited on me at pickup and drop-off was awesome.
The vehicle was very uncomfortable. The outside of the vehicle had several scratches and dings. The carpet on the driver's side was ragged and torn. The back of the vehicle had stains and the plastic had deep scrapes. I was not happy with the vehicle at all. Also I will not rent from that location ever again. For what it cost, I expected the vehicle to be in way better shape than it was.
I enjoyed how easily I was able to pickup and drop off the vehicle. The employees were friendly as well.
The vehicle was low on wiper fluid, tire pressure (around 29 when vehicle required 33 psi), and the car steering wheel and gear shift were dirty.

They didn’t have any vehicles even though they were listed as available. They told me they would have one in about 30 minutes. 3 hours later I got a text notifying me I did not have the rental car I reserved.
Friendly staff in Nashville they upgraded our car because that’s all that was available. We came to pick up later than scheduled by Uber and it was a good thing because there would have been no cars available at that time. We waited approx 30 plus minutes for ours but once we had it all was well.
No cars so they canceled my rental…. Disaster
I know all businesses are short staffed. They had one person helping customers. He did his best and even with the long lines he kept a smile and was very polite. Our problem was the car itself. It was all dented up and you it smelled like an ash tray and we are NOT smokers. If we had not been on a tight schedule I would have gone back in and stood in line and would have asked for a different vehicle.
Avis did not have the van we reserved. They told us they did not ever have the type of can we reserved. We had to push get alternative vehicles.
Received a call on the morning of my reservation (made months earlier) to say that they had no cars at this, or nearby, locations. They had no interest in helping me solve this problem and insisted that this was normal(!!). They passed me around on calls at my insistence that they help me solve this problem. Their system was also down so they wouldn't even tell me my case number to follow up with. Absolutely noone acted concerned about their company's behavior. Avoid Avis at all costs.
