The staff were very deceiving and tried to take us for all the money they could. We got there later than our pick up time so they cancelled our reservation and said they “only” had an upgrade. They also said the money we paid to you was gone and they did not receive it so they had to do another reservation and we had to pay in full for that. They said you guys didn’t pay them and we lost that money. I was extremely upset about that. Then, we declined insurance coverage because we have rental insurance included in our own coverage. They said we had to get their insurance because we didn’t bring our declarations page with us. That was another $88 that we had to pay. You guys did not make us aware of that which cost us. If we had known they would require that, we would have brought it, but we have never had to do that in the past. On top of the $130 we paid to you, they charged us another $230. Our hands were tied as we had 5 kids waiting and needed to get to our hotel. After our trip, I spoke with the manager there and they refunded some of it but we still had to pay more than we should have which was very upsetting.
