Cheap Car Rentals in Central Business District, Seattle

I reserved a car and when I got to the counter, the only car that was available was luxury upgrade that I had to pay extra for. Tried to sort it out but was placed on hold and unable to get to customer service. Ended up paying extra and getting late to my appointment. Disappointing experience.

I had a unique experience that made it tough !!! I had reserved this car by paying for this thru affirm payment co !!!? We’ll this purpose posed a problem as a result of the fact by purchasing from Affirm & pre paying for this rental, I wasn’t able to present a hard card that I used for the pre pay ??? As a result this hertz rental co would not rent the car to me although against n it was pre paid ?? Well after 4 hours calling Kayak, Affirm and Herrtz representatives, I ended up paying for the rental by hopefully cancelling with Kayak & than repaying with my own personal card, which also became an ordeal because the daily rate had gone up ?? Well after another 30 minutes the Hertz rental location Mngr said that if I could cancel this pre paid reservation they would try to get close to the amount I had set it up for, which eventually they did do !! Although the persons at this location were somewhat friendly through the situation & professional, I believe a resolution to this problem should not have taken 4 hours after a pre paid had been done !!

All the workers were rude as hell and didn't lift a finger to help any of the customers.

Pickup and drop off was very easy. Front Desk staff was friendly. I would use them again! Rented a 7 passenger Chevy Traverse... very nice.

Wonderful handling vehicle at a reasonable cost. Pickup and drop off were very fast. The exterior of the car wasn’t entirely clean at pickup. It might be nice to have a “quick start cheat sheet” for basic controls on different models.

Customer service was great! I believe his name was John, and, though they didn’t have the car I had I had rented, they accommodated with an upgrade option, so thanks for that. The person who helped me was very courteous and helpful.

They did not respond to multiple emails attempting to cancel the reservation despite following instructions provided by the company. Car was never picked up.
