Booked through Kayak 6 PM rental at Enterprise skokie. Arrived there to find out that the shop was closed. Had to take lyft to ohare airport and rent another car there. Bad experience

The minivan was not in good shape! There was a problem with the front end which made steering and handling difficult, especially at high speed. The "change oil" light came on halfway through the trip which was disconcerting. When we reported this to the clerk upon returning he seemed unconcerned and said they would check it out but offered no type of compensation. After all of that, we were charged a fuel surcharge because we didn't fill the tank "enough" although it was not full when we picked it up. I thought that to be petty considering the problems we had. In summation, I was not pleased with this particular Enterprise or their customer service.

When we got in there was one man working and he was asleep on the counter. He was so slow it took 45 minutes to get our car.

Went way out to this distant location; first waited for the staff to show up who were late only to be told that they had no “van” for me; I specifically reserved a commercial sized van to move furniture..,. The rep said , “yeah, that happens quite a lot but we haven’t had those type of vans here in a long while”! No help, no alternative, no nothing.. just me out of luck! Not sure if I will ever use kayak or hertz for that matter ever again; utter incompetence and could care less attitudes!!

HORRIBLE!!! I took an UBER to pick up the box truck to move my daughter from one apartment to another (all her furniture and belongs) and there was NO BOX TRUCK FOR ME!! And they could NOT location one anywhere for me! HORRIBLE! I wasted money on an UBER to get there and gat back!! HORRIBLE

Kayak showed vehicles available and I reserved one. Ubered 20 mins to go get it to find out there where no vehicles available

I will never use Hertz again. Arrived at the time of my reservation. They said the van wasn’t there and would have to wait 2 hours. Then they said I had to go to a different location. They then moved my reservation to the next morning saying the van would be there and ready. Van wasn’t there again. Said it would be an hour. Then they said they were going to rent me a car to drive myself to where the van was so I can rent it from that location. Oh and the van was actually a truck. My move was completely a wash and I wasted over $150 in Ubers trying to pick up the van.

The person at the counter was exceptional polite and curtious! He was also then when I dropped off the vehicle. I will use this particle Budget again solely based on his performance! It's rare to see someone In Customer Service go above and beyond! Thank you

I had a reservation for 6pm. I was running a little late, so tried calling prior in order to let them know I hadn't forgotten. No answer. I went anyways, thinking they had missed the phone call - no luck. Closed without any communication whatsoever. I had to take an extra hour out of my day to go to a different rental place (which was also significantly more expensive). Absolutely disappointing.
