Cheap Car Rentals in River Wards, Philadelphia

I was surprised that when I picked up the car nobody checked the car around for damages nor I signed a paper for the car condition, very unusual. Thanks

We went to pick up the car we had reserved and they didn't have any cars, we were sent to another location and faced the same issue.

Reserved a car at the last minute and was told they had a car ready! Arrived and there were no cars at all and no time was given for when they might have one! Luckily, Avis were able to help me! I will not use Hertz again!

Made a reservation for a rental car bc our flight got cancelled but they ran out of cars at one location. Took a city bus to a second location where the reservation customer service rep said there was a car. There also not a car. Ended up having to take a train to DC. 0/10 recommend.

After I completed my rental reservation over Kayak I got a call from Avis and told that there is no car available. I was told by Avis that they are not obligated to provide a car if the reservation is not made 24 hours prior to pick up. While this may be understandable it is not possible for customer to keep track of. In such situations a reservation option should not be presented in the Kayak app. As a customer I expect to receive the car I rented I cannot manage the possibility of overbooking. Furthermore, I had paid the insurance upfront through Kayak. Even thought the reservation is canceled by Avis I could not reach anybody from Kayak to ask for a reimbursement for the insurance payment. I could not make it to my destination and I paid for an insurance I did not use. This was a pretty bad experience all together.
