At my pick up at the Ft. Lauderdale airport, they did not have my premium SUV available and told me they were upgrading me to a mini van for $20 a day. No one upgrades to a mini van and has to pay for it. Why did I have to get charged $20 a day for a be chile I did not reserve. I should have been compensated for having to take a mini van. I will not rent from budget again. I did not like the experience.

Originally were assigned a Chrysler Pacifica, which we liked a lot, but there was an issue with the license plate so we were sent back to the desk and reassigned a Kia minivan, which felt like a downgrade. Also, the person ahead of us in line needed to be reassigned a vehicle because the inside of hers was covered in cigarette ashes. The desk staff was super friendly and helpful, but seems like the vehicle maintenance team has some kinks to work out.

They had QR codes in the airport and sent an email beforehand to have you pre-register with your name date of birth and drivers license number. I did this while I was waiting in line for almost 30 minutes at budget as there was no advantage of doing this before hand because you had to wait in the same line, however, it registered me for my Rental at the time that I put in this information which added an hour onto the rental, and they charged me for it. Then, when I returned the car, they did not go out and inspect, just asked me if I filled up the car. And then received a charge for fuel service, even though the receipt showed that I returned the car full. It felt like they were looking for every opportunity to add erroneous charges onto the price line price in hopes that people would not catch it.

Our experience with Alamo was exceptional. We walked in and did not have to wait had an associate help us right away and had our car within minutes after completing the check in process. We also were given two brand new car seats. Would definitely use them again!

The car was fine. The staff were friendly. We waited for 65 minutes for the complimentary shuttle to come and get us at the cruise shuttle. When we got to Avis it took quite a long time to get our vehicle.

It would have been nice if Avis honored the reservation. They claimed the code was put in for a hard top and not a convertible as ordered. I had to pay an additional $107. I have notified the Massachusetts Attorney General.

Will never rent a car through Kayak/Hertz again. Had to cancel the reservation due to a death in my family. Had to call repeatedly to get a refund. Only after plenty of frustration and time on the phone was able to receive a partial refund. Not a good experience.

Had to wait over an hour in line to check in. They only had two people working and there was a very long line. When I finally spoke to a rep I was told it was going to be another hour to get my car since they did not have one in the type that I ordered. I ordered a wildcard which is basically dealers choice. After I expressed my displeasure in having to wait another hour they finally gave me a truck to rent. Unlikely to use them again. Saving a couple of bucks with them was not worth the hassle.

Huge wait to get the car. Only 2 staff working. Once we got the car, we pulled out and it was defective. Had to go back and get another car. So the first part was frustrating. Once we left, car was great, and drop off was easy.

I called them to change the drop of location to a nearby airport and they told me that there will be an additional $350 fee for that. It ruined my last day of vacation. I could expect them to have some sort of a fee for this change but not that high

There were no cars available at all despite the fact that we reserved and paid for a car. There was a long line of very cranky customers ahead of us in the same situation. Lucky our money was refunded. Sadly we were not able to get another car that time of night.

We never got our car. We had to find and pay for another car from Hertz. I was on the phone with dollar for an hour and couldn't talk to a live person. It was 1am and I was stranded at the airport. Another 200$ to Hertz for one night, then back to the airport my first day of vacation to get another car from Avis. I am still trying to get a refund from dollar. It was a horrible experience. Hertz and Avis were great. I will not book another car with you, I will go directly to the agency.

My car could’ve been better I was told I can have a Full-size car it was not a Nissan Ultima it’s not a full-size car it is a compact car I’m 5 foot 11 280 pounds I could not fit in the car very tight dollar rental and other rental companies are charging Full size prices for compact cars. customers for compact caars! there’s no way a Nissan Ultima is a full-size car I could barely fit in the car very uncomfortable.😕
