Wonderful|Mar 2023

I really appreciate the Gold Plus lane so I could just go to my car and get in and drive. There was a friendly gentleman standing outside in the garage who escorted me directly there, so I didn't have to look. The SUV's electronics were fantastic. It was clean as brand new and easy to set up my Apple play and go. Heated and cooled seats with adjustability made for extra comfort. I'd highly recommend Chicago's airport Hertz rental.

The rental agency booked the car but then sent me a message saying they would be closed at the time I was booked. I canceled because I had a flight and couldn’t get there earlier m. Then I was charged fir canceling!!!!!

Pickup in LA was seamless, with friendly staff, and drop-off in Denver was a breeze. I found Hertz to be reliable and reasonable value, with a superior choice of vehicles.

When I arrived I got a voicemail saying that they didn’t have any cars even tho I made my reservation 2 months prior, they didn’t k ow when they would have a car available, called customer service to see if I can switch my reservation to a different location. They said yes but I would have to pay twice as much as what I payed in my reservation.

I have traveled all around the world for the last two decades. This is the worst!! I asked for the LAX location and got a car from a remote site that only shows on tiny prints on confirmation. I had to pay over $ 80 to get a Uber to and back from the rental office, not to mention the nearly two hours of commute time. I will never rent a car from Kayak.

Zac at the Hertz on Airport Blvd in LA was amazing and helpful and patient with me and my three young kids as we navigated our car rental. I will be renting from Hertz again due to the impression he left with us!

Nothing at all, couldn’t even pick up my rental at the time you guys said was available because the location was closed at 2PM. I need my money back ASAP , I never got my rental.

We did get a complimentary upgrade.

Never was told we need to do our own walk around of the car when I returned the car they found supposed to scratches when the car was parked the entire time. That's what I told them about the walk around never being done and that's when the told we we do our own walk around they never said that as I was renting the car. Only after I returned it did the mention it.

The car I was given was nice, it was raining that weekend and the windshield wiper barley worked, customer service is not that great, they were not rude, and not nice either, staff was not knowledgeable about insurance coverage, I read the policy and seemed to know more that they did

This was the best price I could find for 10 days rental after searching on and off for a few months ahead of the trip. We had an Audi with less than 25,000 miles on it. It had a pretty big patch of paint missing from the rear trunk and bumper. Otherwise the car was pretty clean. Some nice features, although we couldn't pair our phones with the stereo and found the controls difficult to use. Got good gas mileage and handled fine.

Brakes were extremely touchy - like throw you through the wind-shield with a light tap touchy. The pick up took almost an hour. 45 minutes of which included waiting to be waited on and as far as we could, the people ahead of us were just waiting for some resolution to their issue - there was no interaction between the two staff members at the desks using their computers. Our car wasn't ready so we were given a free upgrade. The drop off was confusing. There were cars parked to the edge of the driveway entrance so I parked on the driveway apron, went in to ask where to park and was told right where it was. Other people arrived after me and parked in the road. I waited to be waited on for quite a while, just to get the answer to leave the keys in the car parked where it was. The biggest issue was the multple daily phone calls both me and my significant other received from some car warranty business telling me my 25,000 mile warranty was about to expire and to press 1 to extend the protection. I was seriously offended that my phone number had been either sold to a telemarketer, or somehow associated with the vehicle, as if I was the owner. The phone calls continued for about a week after our rental was over. So, it could have been a better experience.

The staff was lovely. That’s the only good part.

They had no cars despite my reservation through you. They sent me to another location and the STILL DIDNT HAVE ANY CARS. I wasted hours and wound up taking a $200 Uber ride.

I had a reservation for 12 noon. My flight was about a half hour delayed and when I arrived to Enterprise at 12:30 the office was closed. They had closed at noon so I dont understand why I was able to make a reservation for noon. I had already paid for a taxi from the airport to the office. Then I had to pay for another taxi to a different Enterprise office and pay for it. Then the next office would not honor the original rate. I called the Enterprise headquarters and they were also not willing to honor the reservation rate so in the end I spent probably double what I would have spent. I will not book rental cars through Kayak or Enterprise again.

I declined the protection but they still had me for protection, I decided to increase one more week which would have been done easilly on the phone but had to drive back to the station to sign a protection waiver off, and had to wait so long in line because there were other customers

Made a reservation in advance. When I arrived the agent gave my exact specified car to the person ahead in line. Only had a van or a Porsche to rent to me at $500/day. What's the point of making a reservation? Went to Enterprise instead and had a great experience.
